Before Your Sedation Procedure
Follow these guidelines prior to your procedure to help ensure your safety and successful treatment.
You may have NO FOOD OR DRINK for 8 hours preceding for your appointment. This is very important to adhere to. Failure to follow this directive could be life-threatening.
You need to have someone drive you home from your appointment and also stay with you for a couple of hours following your discharge from our office.
If you wear contact lenses, do not wear them. You may wear glasses.
If you have asthma, please bring your inhaler.
If you take medication on a daily basis, you may take your medication with a sip of water.
Please skip all blood thinning medications including Aspirin as well as all Diabetes related medications until further instruction.
Wear loose, comfortable clothing with sleeves that are easy to push up.
No shellac and no finger nail polish!
